About Us

Tona B. Dahlquist Casting has been working with production companies for over 30 years in the southeast to cast the best talent needed for both film and television. We have always taken immense pride in casting our extras with the goal of assuring the producers, directors, and their teams achieve their vision for their productions.

Our casting company has worked on period pieces such as Academy Award-winning films Forrest Gump (1994) and The Eyes of Tammy Faye (2021) along with The Conspirator (2010) and Are You There, God? It’s Me, Margaret (2023). We’ve also cast extras for box-office favorites like The Program (1993), Radio (2003), Leatherheads (2008), Iron Man 3 (2012), The Hunger Games (2012), Halloween (2018), and Halloween Kills (2021). We’re also very proud of our work on smaller, independent films like The Bay (2012), Tusk (2014), Careful What You Wish For (2015), Ashby (2015), Paper Towns (2016), Masterminds (2016), American Animals (2018), and Gigi & Nate (2022).

On television, we’ve cast extras for critically-acclaimed, action-packed television series like Homeland (2011-2020), Banshee (2013-2016), Sleepy Hollow (2013), Outcast (2016-2017), Mr. Mercedes (2017-2019), and The Peripheral (2022- ). We love our comedies too and are proud to have worked on Vice Principals (2016-2017) and The Righteous Gemstones (2019- ).
